The Sims 4 seems determined to win me back with his onslaught of kits, and his latest double release might just do just that.

the Chic in the moonlight and small campers The kits seem, collectively, to offer both style and substance. Chic in the moonlight includes Parisian-inspired evening looks, but they don’t look like floor-length dresses. EA said the items are “inspired by the Parisian designer Paola Locatelli and today’s youthful fashions. So I hope my Sim can dress up in all sorts of new ways.

During this time, the small campers The kit initially looked like The Sims 4the very first game pack, outdoor retreat, which emphasized camping and the outdoors. But this kit looks like a promising refresh. Not only does it include an outdoor projection screen and cute fairy lights, but there are actually things for the kids to do.

The Sims 4 tends to emphasize gameplay for young adult and adult Sims, leaving less for toddlers, children, teens and elders. Babies are literally just objects, so they receive nothing at all. But, according to EA, Little Campers will let kids build a blanket fort where they can play outside and get cozy. They can even be modeled after a car or a rocket. The kit will also include new toys and the ability to roast marshmallows. So it’s closer to home and less like the rough vibes of outdoor retreat.

After almost eight years and around 1500 hours of play, I often feel like there’s nothing left for me to do. But heck if I won’t go for some nice outdoor lighting or a sparkling new look. Now I just have to wait for it to be available and I can take a look at all the Create A Sim and Build stuff.

Both sets will be available to all Sims players on PC and Mac on Origin and Steam, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and X/S on Thursday, May 26. The kits are also the cheapest. Optional DLCs for The Sims at $4.99.
