Nearly 3,600 new COVID-19 infections have been recorded in the past four days in San Diego County, health officials said Monday.

The latest report of new cases stood at 660, with six deaths. The county recorded 1,295 new cases on Friday, 940 on Saturday, 703 on Sunday, for a total of 3,598.

The latest data gave the county a cumulative coronavirus total of 771,980 confirmed cases and 5,277 deaths throughout the pandemic.

The number of COVID-positive patients in San Diego County hospitals was 110, including 23 in intensive care, according to the latest state data.

More than 2.95 million or 93.8% of San Diegans ages 5 and older are at least partially vaccinated, while more than 2.61 million or 83.1% are fully vaccinated.

A total of 1,316,265 or 58.3% of the 2.25 million eligible San Diegans received a booster shot.

As of this month, the county only reports COVID-19 data on Mondays and Thursdays.
