March cabinet sales up nearly 18% | Woodworking Network


The Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association’s (KCMA) monthly trade trend survey found that participating cabinet makers reported continued increases with overall cabinet sales up 17.9% for March 2021 over March 2021. the same month in 2020. Custom sales increased 19.1%, semi-custom sales increased 20.3% and stock sales increased 16.1%.

When looking at the month-to-month comparison, cabinet sales were also up. Overall sales increased 25.2% in March 2021 compared to February 2021. Custom sales increased 21.5%, semi-custom sales increased 20.3% and stock sales increased by 29.6%.

Survey participants include stock, semi-custom and custom companies whose combined sales represent approximately 75% of the US kitchen cabinet and bathroom vanity market. KCMA is the premier trade association for kitchen cabinet and bathroom vanity manufacturers and the industry’s leading suppliers of goods and services. KCMA has been compiling and publishing industry sales data for over forty years.
