All items to be moved from state-operated right-of-way areas

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Kentucky Transportation Cabinet crews remove items illegally placed along public rights-of-way.

KYTC reminds political candidates, residents, business operators, and property owners that no signage is permitted on the right-of-way along US and KY highways.

KYTC says the signs are especially not allowed on roundabouts and areas owned by the state highway department within a few feet of the freeway.

The only exceptions are official road signs and items approved through a permit process.
