Klay gets in Brooks’ face after a flagrant foul on Steph


Dillon Brooks was Public Enemy No. 1 in Dub Nation’s eyes during the Western Conference Semifinals series between the Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies.

In Game 2, he was flagged 2 for injuring Gary Payton II early in the first quarter. It also earned him a suspension for Game 3.

In Game 6 Friday night at the Chase Center, Brooks received a flagrant penalty 1 for pushing Steph Curry in the back.

Klay Thompson immediately rushed to the defense of colleague Splash Brother, getting in front of Brooks after the game. Both players were given technical fouls for the showdown.

Thompson and Brooks were the stars of their respective teams in the first half of Game 6, with Thompson scoring 17 and Brooks losing 18.

The Warriors lead the Grizzlies three games to two in the best-of-seven series as they look to end Memphis’ season. At halftime, Golden State holds a 53-51 lead.
