When and where will Google I/O 2022 take place?
Without a doubt, Google I/O is one of the best events of the year. Google takes the opportunity to present the latest technologies and innovations allowing developers to work on new applications and existing operating systems. This year will be no different, with keynotes slated to outline new developments in things like Android, Firebase, and Web. On top of that, we’re excited to see what new hardware Google will release this year.
Like last year, Google I/O will be held virtually. It might be a bummer for those who miss the crowds and overall energy associated with Google’s event, although it’s a necessary decision. That being said, Google I/O will be available to a wide audience via live streaming, allowing you to see everything from home. For users, there will be multiple ways to log in on May 11 and 12. The first talk will begin on May 11 at 10:00 a.m. PDT.
How to watch the Google I/O 2022 keynote
It’s no surprise that Google is hosting its event via YouTube. If you want to watch Google I/O from YouTube, you can choose between Google Keynote and Developer Keynote, both available below. No later than 10 a.m. PDT on May 11, you can click on the Google Keynote YouTube video below and start watching. If you want to dive into the Developer Keynote at I/O 2022, you can click on the bottom video no later than 12:00 PDT May 11.
If you join one of these live streams before they start, you can set a YouTube reminder for yourself so you don’t miss a thing.
Another option would be to head to Google’s event page and wait for the countdown to end at 10 a.m. PDT on May 11. From there, Google will redirect you to the live stream where you can watch the event.
