Bucks score against Celtics: Live NBA playoff updates as Boston and defending champions battle for ECF berth in Game 7


It all comes down to Game 7 between the Boston Celtics and the Milwaukee Bucks. The second-round series was as enthralling as expected, with both teams trading wins in six straight games. Both teams have just one chance to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals as the series finale takes place on Sunday at TD Garden. The winner advances to face the top-seeded Miami Heat. The Celtics outscored the Bucks 31-21 in the third quarter despite Jayson Tatum sitting with four fouls, and take a 79-64 lead in the final period.

In a battle between two of the league’s top superstars, Tatum (46 points, nine rebounds, four assists) and Antetokounmpo (44 points, 20 rebounds, six assists) gave their best in Game 6, but it was the Celtics which prevailed 108-95 to tie the series and avoid elimination. Marcus Smart bounced back from a tough Game 5 with a flawless performance that included 21 points and zero turnovers. Boston will have the home court advantage, but the defending champions were nearly perfect in closing games (8-1) under Mike Budenholzer. Robert Williams is also back after missing three games with knee pain.
